Salute to a true Gilgit Baltistan’s Hero and vetran of two Pak-O-Hind wars Ghazri Muhammad Panah passes away last night in Gilgit at the age of 88.
إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعون
According to Taj Hussain social media update that, Muhammad Panah, a born solider, prominent social worker, and kind father is no more with us at the age of 88 years. being soldier in army at young age, he fought two wars for Pakistan,1965 and 1971, as valiant soldier his team was awarded Gallantry award of Military ‘’Sitara-Jurat’’, during 1965 war for defending and repelling the enemy offence on a strategic post at keel sector of AJK.
After retirement, he lead a good social and family file, dedicated his life for the community services and served different institutions in voluntary capacity, he left behind a widow, three sons( Muhammad Akram, Nisar Hussain and Muhammad Saeed ) daughters and many grandchildren’s.
He was a uncle of well known political leader from Gojal Abuzar Ali, Qurban Muhammad, Baig Ali,Naseer Karim, Karim Nazar, Essa Khan.
